Dunn Creek Culvert Replacement – Juniper Avenue

Dunn Creek Culvert Replacement – Juniper Avenue

Project Overview

Funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), this project aims to enhance infrastructure and safety at the East Juniper Avenue crossing of Dunn Creek in the Town of Wake Forest. Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. is providing professional engineering services to design and implement a new reinforced concrete box culvert to replace the existing 72-inch CMPs and failing segmental block headwall. The project includes roadway improvements, such as curb and gutter installation, asphalt resurfacing, and provisions for future road extensions. These upgrades will improve the durability and functionality of the crossing, supporting both current and future transportation needs.
